Want to Get Involved?

Volunteer registration for the Orangutan Run 2018 is now open.

Run volunteers — up to 300 strong — represent the best that Sandakan has to offer: They’re helpful, enthusiastic, friendly, and proud of our amazing city.

Fulfilling a volunteer opportunity on race day is a great way to be part of this event and contribute your time towards fund raising for a nobal cause - the wildlife - the conservation of the orangutan, something very close to us in Sandakan.

Please complete the simple form here so that we can keep your informed of the volunteering activites as we get closer to the run date.

Upon registering for a volunteer role, you’ll receive an automatic email confirmation; you will then receive more information closer to race day.

All volunteers must complete the form, provide a valid email address and a mobile telephone number.
